Linear Background

Alice Sunkyung Choi is a Korean, multidisciplinary UX designer with a strong focus on people, impact, and technology in SF Bay Area, Seoul and New York.

Early in her career, Alice designed solutions for the Korean government and won the Presidential Award in a national competition, which led her to work on public medical platforms serving citizens at a national scale.

As an UX/UI designer, Alice led end-to-end product design at Blockchain Labs for over two years, contributing to four platforms that brought complex blockchain technology into real world, human centered services. She designed South Korea’s national vaccine passport used by millions, as well as BlockChat, a privacy focused decentralized messaging app. Her work on COOV was recognized with an iF Design Award for Service Design.

Her work is grounded in judgment under pressure balancing policy, technology, and human needs in systems where failure carries real consequences. To continue evolving her practice, Alice recently completed a certificate program in UX Design for AI Products at Stanford University, further strengthening her ability to design trustworthy, scalable products powered by emerging technologies.
